How do you know if you have stress ?
Here are the some signs and symptoms which shows you are in stress.
When you’re facing something you really don’t want to, can make you feel tense.
1. Trouble Sleeping
This is the most common symptom, and more than 78% peoples face this.
Because the most common reason is over thinking or repeated thinking over any argument.
2. Lack of energy
We usually feels tired without doing hard work.
Anxiety itself is a health issue. It’s a type of emotional symptom of stress.
It can be characterized by feeling of overwhelming dread, rather than just feeling of sadness.
We easily get irritated by peoples, we don’t like company of others.
5. Low Sex Drive
Yes, stress can destroy your relationships.
According to a report of American Psychological Association (APA), in more than 40% divorces one of the partner had stress.
6. Concentration Problem
It’s very difficult to concentrate on our work or studies.
A study found that adolescent rate exposed to acute stress experienced more memory performance issues than their non-stressed counterparts.
7. Compulsive Behaviour
Thee has long been a link between stress and addictive behavior.
8. Mood Swing
Have you ever been to this ? I guess we all does.
It’s a very common behavior change we all gone through, but it don’t mean that we are in stress everytime we have mood swing.
It’s one of the most visible ways that stress often manifest itself.
Several studies also have confirmed that acne may be associated with higher level of stress.
According to APA, in more than 90% of stress cases, it’s associated with moderate to severe headaches depending on the type and level of stress.
11. Chronic Pain
It’s a common complain, which increases with level of stress.
Because chronic pain leads to irritation, disliking for things etc. which give rise to stress.
12. Frequent Sickness
If you feel like you’re constantly battling a case of the sniffles, stress may be to blame.
But it’s not a key factor to determine whether you are stressed or not, rather we can count it as associated facor.
But we should also remember that stress may take a toll on your immune system. Studies shows that higher stress levels are associated with increased susceptibility to infection.
As we earlier discussed about disturbed sleeping, if not treated may lead to insomnia.
According to a study conducted by Stanford Medical School, it was found that out of 100 every 41 people suffered from disturbed sleep or insomnia which is quiet high in compare to other countries.
14. Digestive Issues
Digestive problems like diarrhea and constipation can also be caused by high level of stress.
15. Loss of Appetite
Very common during stress.
Even an acute stress may cause loss of appetite or change in attern
